Clarice is a senior with a major in English: writing arts and a double minor in environmental science and Canadian studies. She moved to the Adirondacks when she was 14, and she loves spending time exploring the peaks through hiking and camping. She enjoys traveling and exploring near and far. She’s passionate about making art, road trip itineraries and being around animals. Clarice has been writing at the magazine for three years.
Oliver is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh with a double major in journalism and expeditionary studies. His family hails from the far western Adirondacks. Oliver grew up in the woods and mountains, learning how to live with and by the land. An avid outdoorsman, Oliver finds his simplest and greatest pleasures in the wilderness. This year will be his second at DoNorth.
Olivia is a senior double majoring in multimedia journalism and public relations. She was born and raised in Peru, N.Y. Olivia loves hiking in the Adirondacks and spending as much time outdoors as possible, especially rollerblading. When she’s not hiking, Olivia can be found enjoying local coffee shops and traversing the abundant farmer’s markets throughout the region. This is the first semester Olivia will be writing for DoNorth.
Cal Seeley is a junior majoring in expeditionary studies and journalism. Although he is from a small town in Western New York, he considers the Adirondacks home. He is an active rock and ice climber, and he has spent much of his time in the Adirondacks and the North Cascades. This is his second semester working with DoNorth.
Elara is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, concentrating in graphic design with a complement in painting. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, drawing and running trails. Her love for the outdoors and visual storytelling is what drew her to DoNorth. This is Elara’s third semester with the magazine.
