Sierra was born in California, moved to Massachusetts and then New York. She loves doing anything outdoors. Hiking, rock climbing and skiing are some of her favorite activities. Sierra loves writing about her adventures and photographing them too. She has been writing for the magazine for four semesters.
Heaven was born in Syracuse and decided to move to the Adirondacks for a change. She loves photography, trying diverse foods and meeting new people. In the fall, you can find her drinking tea and reading memoirs. In the Summer, you’ll find her listening to music live, most likely country. Heaven hopes her curiosity will continue to lead her to explore through her writing. She has been writing for the magazine for three semesters.
Haily left her home in Vietnam for Massachusetts when she was 15. Any day she can go to the gym and lift as heavy as possible is a good day. Haily also enjoys binging Bon Appétit videos on Youtube. She has been writing for the magazine for three semesters.
Haley Passino is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh from Keeseville, New York. She is majoring in multimedia journalism and minoring in public relations. This is her second semester writing for DoNorth and she’s most passionate about visual storytelling, especially in the Adirondacks.
Alyssa Lewis enjoys being lost in the nature surrounding her small hometown, Wells, New York. When not in nature, she is buried in some sort of writing, either doing it herself or reading others’ works. A SUNY Plattsburgh junior, with both a Communications Studies and Public Relations major, gets the opportunity to take one step toward her future goal: being an editor.
After growing up in Vermont, Rickell attended SUNY Plattsburgh to study studio art. She joined the design team at DoNorth because it combined her love of the outdoors with the clean graphic design approach that she knows and loves. This is her third semester with the DoNorth magazine.

Caitlin is a senior from Albany, NY, and has loved the Adirondacks since a young age. Her love for the Adirondacks is what drew her to SUNY Plattsburgh and working on the DoNorth team. Caitlin has been a part of the DoNorth team for three semesters.
