Burger Bob

This restaurant is a comfort-food lover’s dream. Located seven minutes into Québec, Burger Bob is the place to go to satisfy a hankering for a hamburger. Take the food to go, eat inside or at one of the red picnic tables outside. Spend a summer evening chatting with friends and enjoying a burger or poutine. Burger Bob is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, but open until 7:30 p.m. on Friday and closed on Sunday and Monday.

 

Sandy’s Deli & Catering

Sandy’s Deli has just about anything imaginable on its menu including loads of comfort foods. Sandi’s will deliver stateside for only two extra dollars on the days you don’t feel like making lunch or dinner. If you happen to be on the Canadian side of the 45, Sandy’s is just a three-minute drive. The restaurant is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day and delivery is available from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Restaurant Marcel Truck Stop

Don’t let the 18 wheelers intimidate you from enjoying home cooking. This truck stop turn diner is perfect for those who spend long hours traveling and need to stretch their legs, grab some coffee and sit down for a quick meal before heading back out on the road. Marcel’s is open 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Sandi’s has a broad menu, but the desert case stocked pies is the best part. Appreciate the country vibe while indulging in a freshly prepared meal. This diner is open 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

 

Lakeside Coffee

Breathe in the rich smell of roasting coffee while enjoying a quick bite at this cafe located just five minutes from the border. Lakeside Coffee offers daily food specials with lunch and breakfast items as well as lattes, sodas and frappes. Coffee is roasted on site and can be purchased by the cup or by the pound. Sit and sip from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday or 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the weekends. Exposed wooden walls and coffee colored accents around the cafe invite you to drink up with your friends and family.
